The painter and graphic artist Felix Albrecht Harta was one of the most important representatives of Austrian Modernism. Harta lived in Vienna, Salzburg and Cambridge. As a friend of Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele, Harta developed an independent pictorial language between Expressionism and New Objectivity.
